About Me
Greetings! I’m Chris Walker. I’m a freelance writer from the Madison, Wisconsin, area. Yes, that makes me a “cheesehead.” I even own one of those funny hats!
I write primarily about politics, current events and millennial culture. I have more than a decade of experience, writing for both print and online formats. These experiences range from writing as a hobby (primarily on blog sites) to writing on contracted assignments.

…and other types of writing. I even write wedding speeches, and perform wedding ceremonies in my spare time!
Academically I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I graduated in 2008, and consider Milwaukee my second home (I miss tall buildings). I majored in Political Science and minored in Journalism and Mass Communication.
I like to spend my spare time with my family, going to various events around Madison that seem interesting to us. I also pretend that I can play the guitar.
